Stage and Auditorium
  • Permanent proscenium stage; proscenium; opening is 40’ wide by 24’ high.
  • Stage performance area is 40’ wide by 36’ deep; stage has 20’ of wing space on either side of performance area.
  • 27 line counterweight fly system.
  • Travelers, legs and borders are black; regal red main act is a draw curtain.
  • House has lighting instruments available.
  • House has light board and a basic sound system available.
  • Direct stage load-in is at semi-trailer level; 30’ x 20’ opening.
  • 2 stage left “star” (single occupancy) dressing rooms.
  • 2 stage left “principle” (3-10 person occupancy) dressing rooms.

  • The main level of Packard Music Hall is accessible to patrons with disabilities, including the restrooms, pay phone, water fountains, and main floor seating. Special arrangements can be made by calling the front office prior to events. Parking spaces for patrons who are physically disabled are available and clearly identified. Parking staff may hold additional spaces during events with larger crowds.

Sound System Specifications

  • The main sound system at Packard Music Hall is a stereo 4-way speaker system using 2-EAW KF-300 full range speakers, and 2-EAW SB-864 (quad 18") subwoofer systems.  The system is actively crossed-over using a DBX 234 XL crossover.  The speakers are being driven by Carver PXM-1450, Carver PXM-900 and Crest 4001 amplifiers.  Other processing at front of house includes 1-DBX 266 stereo compressor, and a DBX 231 stereo 1/3rd octave graphic equalizer.  The main system also utilizes 2-EV MB200 2-way pasive speaker systems for Balcony fill, driven off of a separate Crown Power Bas-1 amplifier and fed separately from the front of house console.  An Allen & Heath GL-3300 mixing console features 36 mic/line inputs and 4 stereo line input channels.  A 40 x 8 snake brings all mic inputs to the front of house console.  The snake also features a 40 channel monitor "split" which can be fed into either a Ross 12 channel console or a Soundcraft 24 cannel Spirit console for on stage monitors.  The monitors can also be driven from the Allen & Heath console if desired, via 4 aux sends.  There are 2 Crown Poser Base - 1 amplifiers dedicated to power 4 on stage monitor mixes.  Electro Voice 100 2-way speakers are used for monitors. 
  • Microphones include 11 - Shure SM-58, 2 - EV Gooseneck condenser mics, 1 - AT9500 wired lavalier mic, 1 - Shure Diversity Handheld wireless, 1 - Samson Stage 33 VHF wireless lavalier mic, 1 - Audio Technica 1100 series wireless handheld mic, and 5 Audio Technica Pro 5 wired microphones.  An assortment of microphone cables and stand are also available in house.  

Small Auditorium and Secondary Rooms

  • A small auditorium is available. It is ideal for small meetings, lectures, recitals, and warm-ups. There are 58 fixed seats on risers. It provides the same acoustic quality, with the exceptions of volume, as the main auditorium.
  • There are also a number of secondary rooms available, including a meeting room, a coat check area, a concession area, dressing rooms, and a lobby area.

Kitchen and Banquet Facilities

  • A holding kitchen and scullery area are available for catered functions.
    Catering must be provided through a professional catering business that has a current state of Ohio food service license.

  • Round banquet tables and rectangular straight tables with chairs are available.
